During my visit to @bodegaargento, I had the possibility to know about the Matrizviva project that is focus on the living organisms, water, soil, and environment of the Viticultural Ecosystem. For this, the winery joined forces with the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of @uncuyo and @inta.argentinaâ
â
What does this have to do with wineđ·?â
â
Cecilia Acosta, Agricultural Manager, told us that the biodiversity of beneficial species (plants and organisms) helps to have better natural control of the vineyards. Since 2010, the winery has been working with organic processes and sustainable production, with certification in both processes and, additionally, the certification of vegan wines. It is very interesting to see that Argento, together with UnCuyo, has undertaken a project to study the impact of climate change on wine-growing areas and the necessary adaptation actions.â
