Matrizviva, agroecological viticulture is possible đŸŒ±â

During my visit to @bodegaargento, I had the possibility to know about the Matrizviva project that is focus on the living organisms, water, soil, and environment of the Viticultural Ecosystem. For this, the winery joined forces with the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of @uncuyo and @inta.argentina

What does this have to do with wineđŸ·?

Cecilia Acosta, Agricultural Manager, told us that the biodiversity of beneficial species (plants and organisms) helps to have better natural control of the vineyards. Since 2010, the winery has been working with organic processes and sustainable production, with certification in both processes and, additionally, the certification of vegan wines. It is very interesting to see that Argento, together with UnCuyo, has undertaken a project to study the impact of climate change on wine-growing areas and the necessary adaptation actions.

What did we taste 😍?

đŸ· The new Syrah and Pinot Grigio rosé

đŸ· Estate Reserve : Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc,

đŸ· Estate bottle: Malbec, Pinot Grigio

đŸ· Estate Collection: Blend of Malbec and Cabernet Franc

đŸ· Single Vineyard: Malbec Finca Agrelo, Cabernet Franc Finca Agrelo, Chardonnay Finca Gualtallary, Malbec Finca Gualtallary

đŸ· Single Block Malbec

All this with the winemaker @juanpablomurgia, @cecimacosta and @santiribisich general director of the winery.

A great experience that I am happy to share, seeing so much commitment to nature and the environment, at least it excites me😍. Think that this is the only planet we have and we must take care of it, it is really important and itÂŽs a necessity đŸ€—â đŸŒ±â
